Mary McDonnell
Mary Eileen McDonnell was born on the 28th of April 1952. She is an American stage, film and television actress. Her roles in Dances with Wolves, Stands With A Fist and Passion Fish earned her Academy Award nominations. McDonnell is known for her portrayals as President Laura Roslin in Battlestar Galactica as well as First Lady Marilyn Whitmore in Independence Day, and Rose in Donnie Darko. McDonnell was seen as Captain Sharon Raydor on seasons 5-7 of TNT's show The Closer. She also was a part of Major Crimes, the spin-off series of the same network as the Commander Sharon Raydor.
